I like semicolons. A period and a comma, but neither a stop nor a pause. Sentences with semicolons are like two independent people choosing to be with each other, but without label, for neither words nor conjunctions could ever explain the connection they have.

"What are we?"

"I don’t know. I guess we have the semicolon kind of relationship."
